Intel's Latest Graphics Driver Offers Netflix & Youtube HDR Support

Support for HDR streamed video content is continuing to widen in the PC space, and this week Intel have become the latest graphics chip vendor to implement the functionality at a driver level. The Intel Graphics Driver for Windows* [15.60] (officially version 15.60.0.4849) unlocks compatibility with Netflix HDR and Youtube HDR video on Intel UHD Graphics 620, Intel HD Graphics 620 or better.

This feature launches alongside additional features tailored to the Windows Fall Creator's update, a comprehensive run-down of which you can find here. This release is also Intel's launch driver for Windows Mixed Reality.

Intel UHD Graphics 620/HD Graphics 620 GPUs are present on a wide selection of 7000-series Kaby Lake and 8000-series CPUs, but not previous CPU generations.

Netflix* HDR and YouTube* HDR are available for the first-time ever on the PC, on Intel® Graphics!
