AMD announces Lenovo's new gaming monitor with AMD FreeSync, the Lenovo Y27f Curved Gaming Monitor. AMD FreeSync technology offers a stutter-free and ultra smooth multimedia experience through an AMD graphics processor or AMD APU that's capable of using the technology. AMD FreeSync optimizes latency between monitor and graphics processor to eliminate choppiness and tearing for a smoother graphics output. Lenovo now offers FreeSync with their new Y27f Curved Gaming Monitor. The latest Polaris architecture-based graphics cards also known as the new AMD RX Series graphics cards on the other hand support AMD FreeSync technology.

The new Lenovo Y27f Curved Gaming Monitor features a 27-inch VA curved panel with a 178°/ 178°wide viewing angle. The gaming monitor has a 144Hz refresh rate and 4ms response time, perfect for gaming. Input connectors include HDMI 1.4 and Display Port 1.2. The Y27f Curved Gaming monitor has a lift, tilt and swivel stand with traceable scale. The monitor also has a USB 3.0 hub with a 1.2 battery charging port that offers fast charging for a selection of mobile devices. It also has a rotating hook for headphones and hidden cable management for functionality and aesthetics. The monitor's maximum resolution is 1920 x 1080.
