Lexar unveils its latest DDR5 memory kit – the Lexar ARES RGB DDR5 desktop memory. Joining the previously launched Lexar ARES DDR5 desktop memory, the RGB model not just only offer aesthetic RGB illumination but also higher kit speeds starting at 5600MHz up to 6000MHz.

Lexar is rather new in the gaming-oriented desktop memory market, releasing the Lexar ARES RGB DDR4 memory in January last year. Also, it has been a year since Crucial retired its gaming-oriented Ballistix memory line and the residual Crucial Ballistix kits on the market will dry up very soon – a great opportunity for other brands like Lexar to step up and release their own line-up of gaming-oriented desktop memory products. Today, the ARES RGB DDR5 desktop memory completes the Lexar ARES DDR5 memory line-up to include both non-RGB and RGB variants.
