LIAN LI has published a new important notice addressing a fan speed detection issue affecting the HydroShift II LCD-C 360CL and HydroShift II LCD-S 360CL all-in-one liquid coolers when used with UNI FAN CL fans in USB mode. The issue is specific to systems operating without the L-Wireless Controller and may result in inconsistent fan behaviour.
According to LIAN LI, affected users may observe unstable fan speeds or instances where one or more fans fail to spin and report 0 RPM in L-Connect 3. To resolve the problem, the company has released updated AIO receiver firmware and provided clear instructions for applying the fix via a local firmware update.

If UNI FAN CL fans show inconsistent speeds when using USB mode (without the L-Wireless Controller), or if the first or second fan is not spinning and displays 0 RPM in L-Connect 3, please update the AIO receiver firmware via Local Update.

After downloading the firmware file, open
L-Connect 3 -> Settings -> Firmware -> Local Update to complete the update.
Once the firmware update is completed:
HydroShift II LCD-C 360CL firmware version will display as v1.8
HydroShift II LCD-S 360CL firmware version will display as v1.0
Important:
This firmware update is only required for HydroShift II CL-version models.
Users of non-CL versions do not need to update the receiver firmware.
