LIAN LI has released a new cleanup tool aimed at resolving an issue where L-Connect 3 fails to detect connected devices following recent Windows updates. LIAN LI has identified that certain Windows KB updates caused compatibility issues that prevented proper device communication within the software.
To fix the problem, LIAN LI advises users to uninstall L-Connect 3, then download and run the 1014_KB_Uninstaller.bat cleanup tool. The process automatically removes problematic updates, restarts the system several times, and displays a confirmation message once complete. Afterward, users can reinstall L-Connect 3 and verify that the application detects all hardware as expected.
Quick Steps:
Uninstall L-Connect 3
Extract and run 1014_KB_Uninstaller.bat as Administrator
Wait as the system restarts 23 times automatically
Confirm message All specified KB updates have been successfully uninstalled!
Reinstall L-Connect 3 and verify normal operation
Reopen Windows Update to check for updates
Users who continue to experience detection issues after following these steps are advised to contact LIAN LI Support for further assistance. Download the 1014_KB_Uninstaller at the LIAN LI website.
