EK, also known as EK Waterblocks and EKWB, was recently in a storm of negative feedback and rumours of going bankrupt after an exposé by Gamers Nexus. EK used to be a strong leader in custom liquid cooling hardware but appears to be having difficulty keeping up orders and with competitors today. With the release of the latest generation NVIDIA RTX 50 series graphics cards, EK was only able to announce GPU waterblocks for the RTX 50 series on February 14, compared to Alphacool and Watercool that were able to introduce their GPU water blocks a full month earlier in January. Nevertheless, EK appears to be in operation and plans to move forward in the liquid cooling business, releasing a statement today regarding the company and management.
