Fans of all things Star Wars have extra reason to be happy this week thanks to a knock-down Steam Sale launched as part of the annual May The Fourth celebrations. Included are titles never before seen on Steam, whilst others have been reduced in price by as much as 77%.

Two bundles form the core of the sale. The first, listed simply as the "Star Wars Collection" showcases both FPS 'Jedi Knight' titles and the KOTOR RPGs which formed the part of many a adolescent gaming session and are classics in their own right. Down from a collective £75.99 to a choc-full of value £17.48, there's days of fun to be had in some of the best games from the last 15 years.





Naturally all the individual titles also have particularly hefty reductions, so if there's any glaring gap in your library there's probably no better time to fill it. Those keen to experience Battlefront 2 in particular may be interested in this part of the sale.

The STAR WARS™ X-Wing Bundle is the second part of the sale, and features titles never before seen on Steam. X-Wing, Tie-Fighter and the Versus games were classics of their time, genre-defining space flight sims which could have been lost with the effective dissolution of Lucas Arts following a Disney buyout. However, like Grimm Fandango, they have been remastered for modern Windows compatibility and rereleased to a new generation of gamers.





The X-Wing Bundle is available for £20.69 all told, with each individual game also slightly reduced. Although compatible with gamepads you'll want to invest in a joystick to get the very best out of the games.
