Microsoft today introduces new Windows PCs designed for AI and Copilot+ alongside the new Microsoft Surface devices which now feature Snapdragon X Plus and Elite processors. The new Copilot+ PCs come from partner brands including Acer, ASUS, Dell, HP, Lenovo, and Samsung – also powered by Snapdragon X processors. Copilot+ provides AI-accelerated power and functions on these new devices giving access to innovative AI experiences from numerous creative apps such as Adobe Photoshop, DaVinci Resolve Studio, CapCut, djay Pro, and more.

Efficiency and Impressive Battery Life with Snapdragon X

The use of Snapdragon X processors on thin notebooks and 2-in-1 PCs started way back in 2018 with the “Always On, Always Connected PCs” (AOAC) which are designed to provide a good balance between performance and battery life thus producing an efficient device that can last longer than the typical Intel or AMD-powered device. The new Snapdragon X Plus and Elite platforms improve on that concept, Qualcomm's most powerful, intelligent, and efficient processor ever created for Windows - also built for AI. With cutting edge responsiveness, navigate demanding multi-tasking workloads across productivity, creativity, immersive entertainment, and more.
