Microsoft’s second-generation Surface Book is now available for pre-order. The Surface Book 2 is powered by the latest 8th generation Intel Core processors and NVIDIA GeForce GTX 1060 or GTX 1050 discrete graphics offering a powerful notebook for professionals on the go. Microsoft says the Surface Book 2 is five times more powerful than its predecessor and twice as powerful compared to the latest MacBook Pro from its competition. Even with such powerful components, the Surface Book 2 boasts up to 17 hours of video playback. The Surface Book 2 is available in 13-inch models which weigh at 3.38lbs and the 15-inch models weighing at 4.2lbs. Both models use PixelSense Display.

The Surface Book 2’s unique versatility offers users different modes to transform the notebook into tablet mode, studio mode and view mode to cater the different kinds of application typical users would require. It also works with the Surface Dial and Surface Pen to further boost productivity.
