Ahead of the MSIology virtual launch event that will feature the brand’s next-generation laptops powered by NVIDIA GeForce RTX 40 Series GPUs, a new series has been added to MSI’s lineup – the Cyborg 15 Series. The MSI Cyborg 15 gaming laptop is powered by a 13th generation Intel Core i7 processor and up to NVIDIA GeForce RTX 4060 laptop GPU. The Cyborg 15 comes with a 15.6-inch 1080p 144Hz display – not really a high-end spec based on today’s standards for gaming laptops.



The MSI Cyborg 15 Series offers something new and unique for a gaming laptop – a translucent chassis that provides a glimpse of the laptop’s internals. The Cyborg 15’s chassis is a combination of aluminium front chassis and translucent glass-fibre bottom. The rendered images on the MSI website probably does not give the translucent chassis justice and provide a real sense of how “see-through” the chassis is.

A see-through chassis design is not new in tech devices; it is a common aesthetic option for handheld gaming consoles and smartphones. Nevertheless, MSI spices up the gaming laptop competition a little bit by offering something that looks different.
