MSI show off a whole host of new notebooks

MSI has just finished showing an impressive array of laptops at CES 2011 at the LVCC, South Hall 3, booth 30559. These powerful machines, which feature the latest generations of processors, include the MSI G-series—the fastest gaming NBs in the world, the MSI F-series which bring fashion and performance into one, the MSI C-series for superior performance and multi-media functions, the attractive X-Slim Series NBs which boosts extended battery life, and the portable Wind U-series.

G-series – Unbeatable gaming performance

MSI debuted G-series gaming laptops that pack the new Intel® Huron River 2nd Generation i7 Quad Core Processors at CES 2011. They include the 15.6-inch GT680 as well as the 17.3-inch GT780 which are equipped with high performance discrete graphics cards. Both models are equipped with MSI’s own Turbo Boost technology and the top model even uses accelerated dual solid state drive (SSD) architecture, giving it incredible performance that will awe visitors to CES 2011.

F-series – Top choice for fashion & performance

In addition to the all-new Intel® Huron River platform, all F-series notebooks offer even more superior processing and display performance compared to earlier F-series generations. Their exteriors exude a warmness not found in most high tech products and each detail exudes master craftsmanship. F-series notebooks come with MSI’s own raised seal coating and color print to protect against scratching, wear, and smudging. The coating consists of environmentally friendly, chemical-free materials. Just can’t go low profile with MSI’s new F-series. MSI will show the all-new FX420, FX620 and FX720 on CES which support DirectX 11 graphics and are equipped with MSI’s exclusive GPU Boost & ECO Engine power management technologies. Furthermore, all new models have MSI Premium Sound and THX® TruStudio PRO audio experience.

C-series – Stylish multi-media entertainment

These stylish multimedia notebooks were also showin at CES 2011, will include the 15.6-inch CR650, CR640, and CX640. The CR640/CX640 features the latest 2nd Generation Intel® Core™ Processor, while the CR650 is equipped with AMD’s new generation E-350 dual core processor. They both have exceptional display units and SRS PC Sound to enhance performance and your multimedia enjoyment. MSI’s design team sheathed all notebooks in the series in MSI’s stylish color print and incorporated independent chiclet keyboards for a stylish but also a powerful system.
U-series / X-Slim series – Light and portable for great mobility

MSI was also showing off the latest in light & portable notebooks including the 10-inch Wind U160 DX netbook, the 12-inch Wind U270, and the 13-inch X-Slim X370. The Wind U270 and X-Slim X370 laptops feature AMD’s Brazos platform. New landmark dual core E-350 processor which incorporates the AMD Radeon™ HD 6310 discrete class graphics chip which supports DirectX 11, greatly enhances processing performance and battery life. With these light portable laptops, you can enjoy multimedia entertainment all day anywhere you like and not have to worry about running out of battery life.

WindPad 100W : Unveiling the all-new tablet generation

Eric Kuo, associate vice president for global sales, MSI Notebook, mentioned that during CES 2011, MSI unveilied its two new generation WindPad tablets. One features the Win-Tel platform (100W) and the other the Android platform (100A). They come equipped with functions as a G-Sensor gravity detecting device, an ALS light sensor, and Wi-Fi. These two chic tablets are testimony to MSI’s industry-leading capabilities in terms of innovative R&D and stylish design.
