MSI is set to revolutionise its MLG (Mo-Loong-Gi) Edition product line, expanding beyond graphics cards to include an entire ecosystem of PC components. Inspired by the lore of Nia, the wingless Dragon Princess who forged her destiny, the MSI new MLG Edition lineup blends mythical artistry with cutting-edge technology.
MSI first introduced the MSI GeForce RTX 4060 GAMING X 8G MLG Edition in 2023. Now, the MLG line has evolved into a full-fledged gaming PC ecosystem, poised to rival other character-driven builds such as the ASUS x Hatsune Miku collection. With its deep lore, striking design, and cohesive hardware lineup, MSI MLG offers a powerful alternative to the growing wave of "waifu-themed" gaming systems.
Unveiling at Bilibili World 2025
Like ASUS, MSI unveiled the upcoming MSI MLG collection at Bilibili World 2025. Now, MSI is taking the theme further, unveiling a full suite of components, including motherboards, cases, coolers, and peripherals, all adorned with the same legendary aesthetic.
Originally introduced as a limited-run graphics card series, the MLG Edition featured intricate designs drawn from Nia’s story—her mechanical Luminous Wings, the Dragon Sceptre, and her loyal drone companion, Roarbo. Highlights of the upcoming MSI MLG lineup include:
• MLG Edition Motherboard: A dragon-scale PCB pattern with RGB lighting mimicking Nia’s wings and a custom BIOS theme inspired by the Ancient Dragon Clan.
• MLG Edition Graphics Card: Features a mythic backplate honouring Nia's legacy as the wingless Dragon Princess.
• MLG Edition Case: A sleek, angular chassis with wing-like panels and Roarbo’s drone motif embedded in the front panel lighting.
• MLG Edition PSU: A 850W power supply unit also adorned with designs of the Dragon Princess.
• MLG Edition AIO Cooler: A liquid cooling system with a pump cover styled after the Gem of Recognition, featuring dynamic RGB night-sky effects.
• MLG Edition Peripherals: A mechanical keyboard and mouse set etched with dragon script and fiery red accents, honouring Nia’s flame-red hair.
Aside from the red coloured MSI MLG collection, a white version was also unveiled at Bilibili World 2025. Details about the white MLG collection is yet to be released.
MSI has yet to officially announce the global availability of the new MLG collection or confirm whether it will launch outside of China. However, signs point to an upcoming reveal, as a dedicated microsite for the MLG series is already in the works. You can visit the preview page now on MSI’s official website.
