Need For Speed: Most Wanted is now free on Origin thanks to Electronic Arts’ On The House Program.

Make sure you grab your copy quick, it will only be free for a limited time. Need For Speed: Most Wanted originally came out in November 2012 for the PC, PlayStation 3, Xbox 360, PlayStation Vita, iOS and Android. The game received mainly positive reviews from the audience and critics, which at the time was loved for its open world non-linear gameplay. But it was criticized for the single player aspect of the game.

As speculated it's EA’s way of apologizing for the delay of Need For Speed 2015 PC which was planned to release with the PlayStation 4 and Xbox One in November, but was delayed to a Spring release in 2016. Or maybe it's EA giving it another attempt to “win back PC gamers” after the debut of Origin Access.
