Battlefield 3 is the eagerly awaited next instalment in DICE and EA's Battlefield franchise of First-Person Tactical Shooter. The trailer below features gameplay footage of the 'Caspian Border' multiplayer map and includes first-person, vehicle (Tanks, APC's etc.) and dogfighting roles. It represents a significant step-up in gameplay from other FPSers and should be an awesome experience, using the Frostbite 2 engine to push the latest PC hardware to the limit.



Battlefield 3 is due for release in the UK on the 28th November 2011, and is available to pre-order at various online as well as brick-and-mortar stores. Included in pre-orders are unique features and the 'Back to Karkand' Day 1 DLC which reimagines classic Battlefield 2 maps.
