EVGA introduces new NVIDIA 10-Series graphics cards featuring the patented iCX Technology. The EVGA iCX (Interactive Cooling Xtreme) Technology is more than just the new cooling design. The new iCX Technology is a combination of a new PCB layout, thermal modules, LED lighting and Precision XOC. The EVGA iCX Technology features a total of eleven global patents which are technologies that aim to perfect efficiency in cooling and performance. It also features nine additional sensors and MCU’s embedded on the PCB for enhanced monitoring. The new cooler design using the iCX Technology features directed Airflow Chambers. EVGA cards using the iCX technology will also sport a newly designed Die-Cast Baseplate and Backplate then all of the customizations and controls are done through the EVGA Precision XOC software.

Watch the EVGA iCX Technology overview video below.

Advanced Monitoring

The iCX Technology was created to provide advanced monitoring particularly the critical components of the graphics card which is more than just the GPU itself. The iCX technology featuring 9 sensors all over the graphics card will enable the user to monitor the GPU, VRMs and memory in terms of load and temperatures individually. The fan control can also be applied separated to the three major components. LED lighting temperature indicators will also give the user a quick status update of the component’s temperatures which can be found at the side and most visible portion of the graphics card.

Optimized Airflow Fin Design

EVGA graphics card sporting the new iCX Technology has a new fin design that aims to optimize airflow. The half open fin maximizes airflow and the L-shaped fins increase surface contact for improved heat dissipation.

Cool Aesthetics
EVGA graphics cards with iCX technology can be when paired with other EVGA hardware can have synchronized RGB lighting. The Thermal LED Display System also offers customized RGB color and visual alarm settings. Along with the RGB lighting, the new card models with iCX technology also features a die-cast form fitted baseplate and backplate that provides aesthetics and function.
