Headlining the feature list of the new HTC VIVE Pro are the the new optical characteristics. The HMD now integrates dual-AMOLED screens with a resolution of 1440x1600 per eye, increasing pixel density by 37% and raw pixel numbers by more than 75%. Despite the increase in resolution, the refresh rate remains at 90Hz, retaining the smooth and low-latency experience that's the hallmark of VR.

Dual microphones enable active noise cancellation, whilst also allowing 'Alert' and 'Conversation' modes for when you need to be a little more aware of your surroundings.

Be aware that as hardware specs improve, so will system requirements potentially increase. However at this time no increased requirements over the original VIVE have been outlined by HTC.
