NVIDIA GeForce 355.60 WHQL Game Ready Driver Launched

👤by Tim Harmer Comments 📅17.08.2015 15:46:08

Late last week NVIDIA launched the GeForce 355.60 WHQL driver package, the latest Game Ready update which prepares the best possible settings for an upcoming high-profile title. This time around the title in question is a preview edition of Ashes Of The Singularity, a real-time strategy game from Stardock which features advanced DirectX 11 and 12 graphical options.

In addition to the always welcome settings tweaks and Day 0 updates, NVIDIA are also including the first public beta for the GameWorks VR SDK. GameWorks VR provides a series of tools to VR developers which improve VR-specific processes such as movement tracking and frame warping on NVIDIA hardware. This is intended to coincide with Oculus updating their own VR SDK to support these features later this week.

Users of SLI configurations aren't left out in the cold either, as both Devil May Cry 4: Special Edition and Next Car Game: Wreckfest gain profiles to improve performance and compatibility. That's in addition to smaller general and game-specific tweaks which are deemed not quite significant enough to warrant an update bullet-point.

GeForce 335.60 WHQL drivers are now available for Windows 7/8.1/10 systems via the GeForce Experience app. or direct at geforce.com/drivers.
