NVIDIA GeForce 358.50 Game Ready Drivers Released

Ready for the launch of EA's Star Wars Battlefront Beta comes NVIDIA's latest GeForce driver package for desktop and notebook GPUs. The GeForce 358.50 Game Ready Drivers, mentioned in NVIDIA's primer article for the beta launch, contain tweaks and optimisations for the new game as well as a variety of new features for general game and game development.

Also among the features incorporated in the GeForce 358.50 drivers is support for OpenGL 2015 ARB extensions and OpenGL ES 3.2, broadening functionality beyond the DirectX environment.

You can download the drivers immediately through the GeForce Experience app, and they should be available on geforce.com/drivers soon.

GeForce Game Ready Driver

This new GeForce Game Ready driver ensures you'll have the best possible gaming experience in the Star Wars: Battlefront Open Beta. This driver also brings support for the latest OpenGL ARB extensions as well as OpenGL ES 3.2. In addition, this Game Ready driver also includes updated features and functionality for the GameWorks VR software development kit (SDK).
