NVIDIA Presents GEFORCE RTX 40 Series Graphics Cards

Headed by NVIDIA CEO Jensen Huang at GTC 2022, NVIDIA presents the next-generation NVIDIA GeForce RTX 40 Series graphics cards powered by the new ultra-efficient NVIDIA Ada Lovelace, 3rd generation RTX architecture. Gaming performance in the latest titles rockets by up to 2X, and by harnessing DLSS 3 and new Ada innovations, developers can boost performance by up to 4X in fully ray-traced titles. In creative apps, GeForce RTX 40 Series graphics cards provide up to 2X the performance in 3D rendering, video export speed, and AI tools.



NVIDIA presents the new GEFORCE RTX 4090 and GEFORCE RTX 4080 graphics cards. The GEFORCE RTX 4090 comes with 24GB of GDDR6X memory, coming with an MSRP of US$1,599 and to be available this October 12th.



On the other hand, the GEFORCE RTX 4080 will come in 16GB and 12GB models with the 16GB coming in first with an MSRP of US$1,199.

NVIDIA RTX Remix

NVIDIA also announces the new NVIDIA RTX Remix, a platform for modding games to add ray tracing and DLSS support. NVIDIA demos Portal with RTX; Shader Execution Reordering revolutionizes ray-traced rendering; AV1 dual encoders speed up video exports by up to 2X, and significantly improve quality in livestreams and video calls.
