OCCT has announced a new collaboration with Intel, introducing a dedicated CPU tuning tool with native support for Intel processors, starting with Granite Rapids. The new integration brings advanced per-core tuning and overclocking controls directly into OCCT’s interface, allowing users to fine-tune performance and stability without relying on external utilities.
Native Support for Intel CPUs
OCCT’s new processor tuning tool launches with native support for Intel CPUs, beginning with Granite Rapids. Fully integrated into OCCT, the tool allows users to access essential tuning parameters from a single, familiar interface, simplifying the process of optimising both performance and stability.
Designed for enthusiasts pushing hardware limits as well as professionals requiring precise control, the aim is to deliver a streamlined, dependable tuning experience without unnecessary complexity.
How It Works
A new Tuning section will be introduced within OCCT, enabling users to fine-tune their processors without leaving the application. From this interface, users can:
• Adjust clock speeds on a per-core basis
• Make precise tuning changes directly within OCCT
This close integration allows tuning and stress testing to be performed within a single workflow, reducing friction and improving overall efficiency. Built-in safeguards help prevent common errors, making the tool accessible for beginners, while still offering an unrestricted experience for advanced overclockers seeking full control.
How It Compares to Existing Tools
Unlike standalone tuning utilities, OCCT’s Intel tuning tool is designed around tight integration and usability. Key advantages include:
• Full integration within OCCT
• Seamless operation alongside OCCT stress testing
• A focus on clarity, precision, and reliability rather than managing multiple applications
• Support for Linux platforms
To support this functionality, OCCT’s user interface has been significantly updated, allowing live CPU parameter adjustments while a stress test is running. This enables faster iteration between tuning and validation, which is critical when pushing hardware to its limits, while also providing finer control over the overclocking process.
Availability
The new tuning tool is currently available in closed beta, with a public release expected in the coming weeks. Additional details will be shared closer to launch. Learn more about OCCT at OCbase.com.
New Intel-Themed Skin
Complementing the collaboration, OCCT will also introduce a brand-new Intel skin. This visual update allows users to apply Intel’s colours and branding directly within OCCT, rounding out the partnership with a dedicated aesthetic option.
