On The Eve Of TwitchCon, Elgato Unveils The Game Capture HD60 Pro

San Francisco, CA, September 24, 2015 – Elgato Gaming today took live streaming of gameplay to the next level with the announcement of the new Game Capture HD60 Pro. Built around a high-speed PCIe interface, Game Capture HD60 Pro enables live streaming in flawless quality with near zero latency. What’s more, utilizing its powerful encoder chip, the card can simultaneously save a full resolution 1080p60 recording so creators don’t even have to choose between live streaming and high quality recording. Elgato Gaming will showcase Game Capture HD60 Pro at TwitchCon 2015, September 25-26, and provide attendees with a glimpse of the features in the upcoming Game Capture 3.0 software.

Instant Gameview & Master Copy

Utilizing the card’s high speed interface and advanced H.264 hardware encoder, Game Capture HD60 Pro combines 1080p60 streaming capabilities with simultaneous recording at up to 60 Mbps. The new Instant Gameview feature delivers video directly to your preview screen with superior low latency technology, ensuring that in game video is perfectly in sync with your webcam reactions and audio commentary. Thanks to Master Copy, you can stream and record at the same time without compromising on the quality of your broadcast or recorded footage. Even while streaming live in 720p60 quality you can save a full resolution 1080p60 recording, with separate tracks of your webcam and live commentary.



Game Capture 3.0 Software Public Beta

The upcoming Game Capture 3.0 software makes it easy for live streamers to entertain their audiences with even more engaging content. The Stream Command editor introduces support for webpage overlays and chroma key, enabling you to create streams that look smooth and professional with just a few clicks. The Public Beta can be downloaded for Windows today. It is available in 32-bit and 64-bit versions that can be installed in parallel.

Game Capture HD60 Pro comes with an HDMI cable (2 m, 78.8 in) and a high and low profile bracket. Required is a PC with Windows 7 SP1 (or later), a 2nd generation Intel Core i5 CPU (i5-2xxx or comparable), a PCIe x1/x4/x8/x16 slot, 4GB RAM, and an internet connection. Stream Command requires a 2nd generation Intel Core i7 CPU (i7-2xxx or comparable).
