Back in September we reported that Overclockers UK were relocating to new premises. Today, after weeks of arduous work Overclockers UK launched their exclusive grand opening by revealing their new store to the public. Hundreds of eager customers queued at the doors hungry for some truly unbeatable offers.



One of the most sought after offers was a Sapphire HD7970 – custom cooled and with a burly 3GB VRAM for just £199.99 (£130 off!). As you can well imagine; they were flying out the door.

Coupled with the amazing deals – OcUK’s new store was a welcome treat for many avid customers and will continue to be in the foreseeable future. The store has been kitted out with pre-built demo systems, a chance to see products up close and personal and an assortment of headsets, mice and keyboards to ‘trial before you buy’. Peripherals are a very subjective set of products and whilst reviews from such a review site as Vortez can report back on quality and other aspects, how a product truly sounds in the ear and feels in the consumers hand can only be evaluated personally. The idea of being able to feel different mice in your hand and find the one that is best suited to your needs is a great idea.





Being press gave us the honour of being shown around OcUK’s exciting new surroundings, including behind the scenes access to technical support, warehouse and offices. Things are certainly a huge improvement over the previous grounds, the foundations are set for even bigger and greater things ahead.
