Patriot introduces next-gen flash storage devices including two new Type-C USB drives and the larger capacity LX Series microSDXC flash card.

Patriot Expands LX Series microSDXC with 256GB Capacity



Patriot announced the addition of a 256GB capacity to its LX Series line of microSDXC cards. The new LX Series microSDXD cards uses the latest 3D NAND technology, allowing for more storage in a dime-sized form factor, the 256GB LX Series is capable of capturing hours of 4K UHD and Full HD video and thousands of high-resolution images. The Patriot LX Series is perfect for action cameras, drones and Android smartphones or tablets.

The Patriot 256GB LX Series microSDXC is Class 10, U3 qualified, allowing for sequential speeds of up to 90MB/s read and up to 80MB/s write for the quick capture of images and speedy transfer of data from camera to computer. Patriot gives it a 2-year warranty along with award-winning customer service, the 256GB LX Series is a top rate choice for consumers looking for an affordable way to expand the onboard storage of their smartphone and tablet or are looking for more action packed moments while recording on their GoPro.

The two new Type-C USB drives from Patriot are the Stellar-C Vertical and Stellar-C Pass-Through USB drives. The Patriot Stellar-C Vertical (STC-Vi) and the Stellar-C Pass-Through (STC-Ti) will provide users with high capacity, portable storage solutions for the ever growing Type-C technology. The Patriot STC-Vi will provide users with an upright solution to minimize obstruction while in use with Type-C smartphones or tablets and provides a low-profile, plug-and-stay, drive for use in notebooks, such as the MacBook, and desktop PCs. The Patriot STC-Vi will be available in capacities of 64GB to 128GB featuring transfer rates of up to 225MB/s read and up to 25MB/s write for a seamless transfer between devices.

The Patriot STC-Ti will enable users to transfer data between devices, while still having access to a charging port. The STC-Ti’s dual sided design has a Type-C connector on one end for storage use and a Type-C port on the other to keep access open for charging purposes. The Patriot STC-Ti will be available in capacities from 64GB to 128GB with a transfer rate of up to 130MB/s read and 20MB/s write.

The Patriot STC-Vi will be available in Quarter 2 of 2017 for starting MSRP of $24.99 - $64.99 USD and the Patriot STC-Ti will be available in Quarter 2 for a starting MSRP of $34.99 - $74.99.
