Phanteks launches the new AMP GH Series ATX 3.0, now available for pre-order at Overclockers UK. Available in black and white colours, the Phanteks AMP GH Series ATX 3.0 features a fully modular cable design with modern features to handle current and future market demands. The AMP GH Series ATX 3.0 comes in 750W, 850W, and 1000W models.
Choice of Six Models
The Phanteks AMP GH Series comes in six different units, with a choice of either 750W, 850W or 1000W, with all 3 wattages available in black or white. Complete with a classic Phanteks stylish finish and textured cables, the AMP GH series ensures appearance matches the high-end performance. The 750W and 850W models are 80 PLUS Gold rated, achieving 89% efficiency at half load. The 1000W is rated at 80 PLUS Platinum, attaining 90% efficiency at half load.
ATX 3.0 and PCIe 5.1
Phanteks have ensured the futureproofing of any build as the AMP GH Series are engineered to meet ATX 3.0 specifications, meaning they can handle up to 200% their rated output. The PSUs also support PCIe 5.1 with a 12V-2x6 connector – this can deliver up to 600W via single cable, perfect for powering even the highest spec of graphics card.
Silent Cooling
With all Phanteks’ products, cooling is key, and the Phanteks AMP GH Series is no exception. The new PSUs expertly balance performance and noise with an inbuilt 120mm fan fitted with a hydraulic bearing, ensuring component longevity and great stability. The AMP GH Series also has a ‘Hybrid Fan’ button which allows the system to intelligently monitor its load and manage the fan speed accordingly.
Fully Modular
Modular PSUs are becoming the norm in DIY PC building, and the AMG GH Series follows suit, meaning builders can use only the cables they need when finalizing their latest creation. On top of that, the textured cables and included cable combs help keep builds looking sleek and organized.
The PSUs are also incredibly compact, coming in ATX form but measuring only 140mm long.
