Phanteks has unveiled its latest chassis innovations at CES 2026, headlined by the new Matrix Series alongside a striking open-air concept prototype. Together, the announcements highlight Phanteks continued focus on blending performance engineering with visual expression, transforming PC cases into both functional systems and design statements.
The Matrix Series introduces integrated LED display technology hidden behind premium fabric panels, while the EXO 626 Concept Prototype explores a refined take on open-frame architecture. From flagship enclosures to upgrade kits, Phanteks is positioning its latest lineup as a cohesive ecosystem aimed at enthusiasts who value customisation, airflow efficiency, and clean aesthetics.
Phanteks Matrix Series
The Matrix Series turns PC chassis into dynamic display platforms by integrating LED matrices behind woven fabric panels, delivering a soft, ambient glow rather than exposed lighting. All Matrix products are powered by the Phanteks NexLinq App, which provides real-time system monitoring, animations, and lighting control while operating at under ~3% CPU usage. Widgets are fully customisable in layout, content, and style, allowing users to move beyond fixed templates.Phantek Evolv X2 Matrix
The Evolv X2 Matrix is the flagship of the lineup, combining premium materials with a vertical airflow design that channels cooling from bottom to top for both CPU and GPU. A 900-LED matrix sits behind fabric and floating glass, enabling the chassis to display system data and custom visuals while maintaining a minimalist appearance.
900-LED Matrix Display concealed behind premium fabric
Powered via one SATA cable and a USB 2.0 header
Phanteks NexLinq App operation under ~3% CPU load
Vertical bottom-to-top cooling layout
Integrated D-RGB accents and clean cable routing
Support for ATX rear-connector motherboards
Phanteks XT View Matrix
Positioned as a more accessible option, the XT View Matrix brings a 600-LED display to Phanteks XT View chassis. It offers support for large graphics cards, multiple radiators, and extensive fan configurations, balancing performance with personalisation.
600-LED Matrix Display hidden behind soft fabric

Phanteks NexLinq Software and Matrix Ecosystem
At the core of the Matrix Series is the NexLinq App, enabling real-time monitoring of CPU and GPU temperatures, fan speeds, time, and date, alongside animated lighting effects and custom text. All processing is handled on dedicated hardware, ensuring consistent performance regardless of widget count. The result is a unified ecosystem spanning flagship, mid-range, and upgrade solutions.
EXO 626 Concept Prototype
Alongside the Matrix Series, Phanteks showcased the EXO 626 Concept Prototype, a premium open-air chassis inspired by exoskeletal design. The concept blends open-frame freedom with the refinement of an enclosed system, presenting the PC as a minimal, architectural object.
Open-air exoskeletal-inspired design
Separate compartments for GPU, PSU, and AIO cooling
Passive-focused airflow for quiet operation
Mesh panels for efficient ventilation
Support for large high-end GPUs and AIO coolers
