Pick up a USB 3.1 Bay Adapter Free with Selected GIGABYTE Motherboards
Until September 30th GIGABYTE are offering something new if you pick up one of four motherboards from their refreshed 2016 X99 and Z170 range - a USB 3.1 drive bay adapter. Valued at £40, the front bay adapter slots into a spare 5.25" bay and provides both a high-speed USB 3.1 standard and Type-C connector*. As well as being convenient for connecting a range of devices such as cameras and tablets, the ports also support USB Power Delivery 2.0 protocols that supply up to 100 Watts of power to compatible devices.
Four motherboards are part of this promotion: the X99-Designare EX, X99-Ultra GAMING, Z170X-Designare and Z170X-Ultra GAMING. Each were part of GIGABYTE's 2016 refreshed lineup, offer support for Intel's latest Broadwell-E (x99) or Skylake (Z170) CPUs, and include proprietary and chipset-level feature advancements.
To claim your free USB 3.1 Bay you simply need to register your motherboard with GIGABYTE before September 30th 2016. One caveat applied however: you'll need to have purchased said motherboard on or after August 15th, and need the invoice/receipt to prove it.
