Plextor launches its newest addition to its line-up of NVMe PCIe solid-state drives – the Plextor M9Pe Series. The M9Pe SSD uses TOSHIBA BiCS3 3D TLC advanced 64-layer 3D NAND flash and its flagship controller, the Marvell 88SS1093. It also uses the exclusive PlexNitro SSD Storage Solution featuring smart cache technology that enables the M9Pe Series SSDs to deliver up to 3200MB/s sequential read speeds and up to 2100MB/s sequential write speeds. Plextor also improved the SSD’s durability to go along with its improved performance over its predecessors making it the flagship gaming SSD model to date.

The new Plextor M9Pe SSD Series is ideal for building high-performance gaming PCs with its performance and a new eye-catching design having programmable RGB lighting available on the add-in-card models. As for the HHHL models, the M9Pe SSD comes with a high-performance thermal heatsink to ensure stability and avoid thermal throttling even during long sessions of gaming.
