Plextor introduces the value-oriented M8V Series solid-state drives featuring Toshiba’s 64-layer BiCS Flash chips along with the Silicon Motion SMI2258 controller offering impressive sequential read and write speeds of up to 560MB/s and 520MB/s respectively. The Plextor M8V SSDs also sport LDPC (Low Density Parity Check) Error Correcting Technology along with Plextor’s exclusive software applications boosting the SSD’s performance and endurance. The Plextor M8VC Series supports RAID Engine (Drive Array Accelerator) and Data shaping (Data management) for enhanced data transfer stability.
