Confused? Well Prolimatech in their venture for a cooler cooler, this variant of the Mega-Super-Mega-Awesome-Superhalems, unlike the previous Mega Shadow which has a polished black nickel finish, has a grainy matt finish, which increases surface area (a hint towards performance too (but it doesnt always work out that way)) while retaining the silver nickel coated copper heatpipes and baseplate. It would appear that this is Prolimatech's way of re-introducing a black heatsink at a lower cost (similar/better performance?) than before which could be an attractive alternative for some high end air cooling. Compatible with AM2, AM2+, AM3, AM3+, (FM1? to be confirmed), 1155, 1156, 1366 and is on sale now @ CaseKing.de for €54.90.
