"Tragedy, Pathos, Tedium." GTA V Comes To PC

Rockstar Games have just debuted a new trailer for Grand Theft Auto 5, for the first time revealing the games' release date on PC and next-generation platforms as well as show off next-gen console graphics.

GTA V's Playstation 4 and XBOX One launch will be the 18th November, just in time for the start of the US Thanksgiving to Christmas holiday period. As well as graphical improvements the game will also include addition bonus content such as new songs and DJ mixes. Players returning from XBOX 360 and PS3 versions of the game can also claim exclusive content such as new vehicles.

The PC release will follow on the 27th January, over two months later.

Although there will be a lot of pressure to pre-order in the form of exclusive content (and a $1m in-game cash bonus) it's worth remembering that past console ports of Rockstar games have been poorly optimised for the PC platform. If we had any advice it would be to await reviews before laying down any money.

You can check out new screenshots and details here. Images shown are of the PS4 version, however the PC edition should be a further step forward in fidelity.
