RaiJintek Reveal The AGOS Mid-Tower PC Case

Fresh off the announcement of their new Morpheus VGA coolers' availability German cooling specialists RaiJintek have just unveiled their first PC chassis - the AGOS. Based around a relatively standard midi-tower design featuring support for ATX motherboards and three 5.25" optical drives, the AGOS will come in black and white colour options.

The AGOS is designed primarily for high air flow via a large dual-fan intake and 120mm/240mm rear/roof exhaust, although there is some additional support for roof-mounted 240mm radiators. Both the PSU and roof mount locations include removable fan filters, whilst the front appears to have a static filter which comes away when the fascia is removed. Modular HDD/SSD caddies should also aid in air flow through the case given a typical configuration of up to three HDD's. Side-panel-mounted fans will encourage directed air onto the CPU and GPU areas if required, but generally speaking though that shouldn't be a necessity and perhaps a more streamlined or windowed panel would have been preferable.

Unlike some value chassis the AGOS also supports single USB 3.0 and 2.0 ports, which along with a headphone/microphone in/out are mounted on the front-left of the case fascia. It would perhaps have been more useful these days to support two USB 3.0 ports and an USB 3.0 header to USB 2.0 header adapter, but that would add expense to an already cost-conscious design.

Key unknowns at present are the clearance at the top for radiators and fans and amount of space behind the motherboard tray for cables. Overall though initial appearances are of a pretty well put together layout including grommeted cable routing and some toolless features. Not bad for a chassis projected to be priced at 50 including VAT.
