SAPPHIRE also introduces a packaged eGPU solution, equipping the new GearBox 500 Thunderbolt 3 enclosure with the award-winning SAPPHIRE PULSE AMD Radeon RX 6600 XT 8GB graphics card. The eGPU solution supports Thunderbolt 3 and Thunderbolt 4 enabled Mac and Windows 10 devices.



The SAPPHIRE GearBox 500 eGFX Enclosure is designed to be lightweight and slim making it highly portable. The enclosure can support up to a 300W graphics card from both AMD and NVIDIA’s consumer and professional graphics card families. Hence, SAPPHIRE also offers a complete eGPU solution equipped with a PULSE RX 6600 XT which features a robust Metal Backplate Design and powerful Dual-X Cooling Technology.

The SAPPHIRE GearBox 500 eGFX Enclosure comes with a Thunderbolt 3 power with 60W power delivery, two USB 3.0 ports, and a Gigabit Ethernet port for peripherals and connectivity. The eGPU enclosure has a single PCIe 3.0 X16 slot.
