Rebranding may be the order of the day when it comes to the upcoming HD7000-series, or at least the low-end members of the range. The above slide, from perennial leak site ChipHell, indicates that the 7350 through 7670 will feature the GPUs of the equivalent parts from the current 6000-series. AMD were excoriated last year for choosing to use re-badged 5700-series GPU's in their 6700 range; it's not yet clear what parts will make up the performance entry-level of the 7000 series (nominally the 77x0's), though it's expected to be at least the Juniper's of the current 68x0's. Similar business practices by nVidia on their performance parts have been criticised in the past.

With X79 now in retail channels, the next generation of graphics cards from green and red teams have become the focal point of interest. Little is known about their capabilities or pricing, with a nebulous release date of 'early' 2012 being the only expectation thus far.
