Sharkoon introduces the X-Rest 7.1 illuminated headset stand with surround sound. The Sharkoon X-Rest 7.1 also features an integrated external USB sound card which delivers the virtual 7.1 surround sound system. The X-Rest 7.1 is an ideal second source of audio when using headsets or speakers. The X-Rest 7.1 has an angular design with a textile braided cable. The blue LED illumination adds more than just giving your headset a stand to keep it near and secured, it also adds appeal to your gaming station. Sharkoon’s virtual 7.1 surround sound can be activated on any Windows PC or notebook. A dashboard that works as controls will enable you to adjust volume, mute microphone and set equalizer. The blue LED lighting turns to red color when the microphone is muted giving the user a much easier visual on microphone settings. The Sharkoon X-Rest 7.1 is compatible to all headsets, both using stereo jacks or TRRS connectors. The X-Rest 7.1 has two 3.5mm ports that automatically detects which connector is being used.

Using the 7.1 surround sound offers eight preset equalizer settings which can be quickly selected through the equalizer button on the headset stand. The LED lighting illumination can also be turned off if preferred. The equalizer settings are compatible with Windows, Mac and PS4 as well without the need for drivers, just plug and play.
