Singularity Computers, the Australian manufacturer of high-end PC chassis and custom water-cooling hardware, has launched the Spectre Limited Edition Water-cooling Case, a limited-run showcase chassis inspired by the company's original Spectre designs. Only 49 cases will be produced, with an estimated availability of three weeks.
The original Spectre introduced Singularity Computers' commercial distribution plate concept, integrating parts of the water-cooling system directly into the case structure. This new edition revisits that design philosophy with a curved CNC-machined 6061 aluminium frame and the latest generation of the company's PowerBoard technology.
Event Horizon Design
The standard finish is Singularity Computers' Event Horizon, combining gloss black paint with fine silver flakes designed to resemble stars in space. Custom finishes are also available, including Aurora Purple, Beryllium Bronze, Pearl Gold, Milky Way, Nebula, Platinum Silver, Red Shift, Solar Flare and Titan Orange.
The rear of the main distribution plate features an area for a custom laser-etched glowing constellation. Customers can enter their preferred constellation, while a random star pattern is used as the default option.
Integrated Water-Cooling and PowerBoard
The Spectre chassis integrates the reservoir, D5 pump top and cover, fill and drain ports, parts of the water-cooling loop and a front distribution plate into the chassis. It supports two 420mm or 360mm radiators with up to 100mm of combined radiator and fan thickness, while a 140mm fan can be installed behind the motherboard to cool the rear of the CPU socket.
The integrated PowerBoard provides two fan PWM channels and two pump PWM channels with independent coolant temperature-based RPM control, two temperature sensor inputs, eight ARGB connectors, dedicated pump headers and a PSU jump-start function for running pumps without booting the system.
Hardware Support
The Spectre water-cooling case supports XL-ATX motherboards up to 290mm wide and 350mm high, alongside E-ATX, ATX, Micro-ATX, Mini-DTX and Mini-ITX boards. The chassis provides eight expansion slots and supports up to two 2.5-inch drives.
GPU support extends to 445mm in length with a 60mm front radiator and 25mm fans. Maximum GPU height is 170mm in standard orientation, while vertical mounting removes the height limitation. A vertical GPU bracket with a PCIe 5.0 riser cable is included, with a second vertical GPU mount available separately.
