Ubisoft had plenty to reveal at E3 2018 this year, including previews of Assassin's Creed Odyssey, The Division 2 and The Crew 2. However that wasn't all... additional content for anachronistic PvP slash-athon For Honor was also unveiled, alongside a special limited time promotion. Yes, For Honor can be downloaded for free, today, to keep forever.
For Honor's PC Standard Edition offers the core gameplay including all maps and modes the game has to offer. This basic version of the game comes with three 'vanguard' classes included - the Warden, Raider, and Kensei - while faction-specific classes are unlockable and customisable with in-game currency. Furthermore, if you get a taste for the game you can upgrade to the digital Deluxe and Gold editions at a lower price, or snap up the Season Pass for $20 or your regional equivalent.
To claim your copy you'll just need to register a uPlay account - if you're purchased a Ubisoft title recently it's likely you already have one. Visit this link for instructions, and also a comprehensive price list for PC, XBOX and PlayStation.
For Honor is moving into the next season of play, and will soon be introducing a new faction and Siege Battle mode with the Marching Fire update. Rest assured, it doesn't look like Ubisoft are dropping support for the title any time soon.
