Supporting a wider range of user needs, Silverstone have modified the SUGO SG08 mini-ITX chassis to create the SUGO SG08-LITE. Capitalising on the positives of the SG08 such as aluminium fascia and robust steel construction, the SG08-LITE also adds support for slot-loading optical drives for a sleeker and more attractive finish.

Furthermore the SG08-LITE eschews a bundled Silverstone 600W PSU, instead incorporating mounting points for standard ATX PSUs up to 160mm long. The top fan mount is also clear, allowing the installation of 180mm, 140mm and 120mm fans or radiators. As with the SG08 the LITE version sits in a 222mm x 351mm footprint, and is only 190mm tall.

The SG08-LITE can accommodate DTX and mini-ITX motherboards, CPU coolers up to 140mm tall and two 2.5" / one 3.5" HDD. Front I/O is supported through two USB 3.0 via an internal header, mic-in and headphone-out. Ample room is allocated for graphics cards, with listed specs detailing compatibility with dual-slot designs up to 12.2 inches long.

Based on specs alone the SG08-LITE seems ideal if you're planning a Steam Box or similar high-performance small form factor build due to its wide compatibility range. Relatively open panels may mean that you need to be more considered in your chose of components, especially with regards to noise, but overall it seems hard to fault.
