Memory specialists Team Group are jumping on the M.2 SSD bandwagon with their new TM4PS4 & TM8PS4 lines. The new M.2 SSDs make use of SATA III signalling and the 22x42mm or 22x80mm form factors, making them well suited to a wide range of thin notebooks, embedded systems, and small form factor desktop designs.

Both the TM4PS4 and TM8PS4 support advanced garbage collection, TRIM Command, and a new low-power mode known as DevSleep; each of these serve to improve long-term performance, durability as well as saving on costs. They also benefit from a 3 year warranty and free technical support, so you'll have great peace of mind picking up one of the Team Group designs.

We should note that M.2 SSDs are typically split between two different interface modes - SATA III and PCI-Express. The SATA III mode benefits from being relatively easy to retrofit from mSATA to M.2, reducing development costs and hence the price for the end-user, but don't take advantage of the full PCI-Express over M.2 speeds. These new SSD fall in to the latter camp.
