Microsoft unveils two new Surface products, the Surface Studio all-in-one desktop PC and the Surface Book i7 which are both powered with the latest Intel Core processors and Windows 10 operating system.
Surface Studio
Microsoft aims to market the Surface Studio to the creative and designer community for their content creation. The Surface Studio features a 28-inch PixelSense ultra high-definition 4.5K display that's only 12.5mm thin. Microsoft collaborated with Intel to make the Surface Studio highly productive in running programs that work on creative content and still create a light and modern-looking workstation. The Surface Studio features a professional-grade performance and power with the help of Intel's Core i5/i7 processors and NVIDIA GeForce dGPU. Memory can also be upgraded up to 32GB of RAM. The Surface Studio has a modern and minimal design with clean lines. The Surface Studio also features new tools for creative process such as the Surface Dial which is a radial menu of tools in certain applications such as Adobe CC, Bluebeam and others. The Surface Studio also features the Windows Ink workspace. The Surfaced Studio prices starts at $2,999.
Surface Book
The Microsoft Surface Book is a powerful laptop with vibrant graphics and a whooping 16 hours of battery life. The Surface Book offers speed and stunning graphics thanks to its Intel Core processor, which can be configured up to an i7 processor, and NVIDIA GeForce GTX 965M 2GB graphics processor.
The Surface Book has an innovative and flexible design wherein it can be transformed from a laptop to a clipboard and to a drawing board. The Surface Book's 13.5-inch display packs 6 million pixels for visually accurate resolution and true-to-life colors.
