Thermal Grizzly launches a 90° version of the WireView Pro GPU temperature and power monitoring accessory introduced late last year, expanding compatibility to select RTX 50 series graphics cards. The Thermal Grizzly 90° WireView Pro GPU is a device for measuring the power consumption of graphics cards. As a Pro version, it is also equipped with connector detection, temperature sensors, and an acoustic alarm. The measured data is displayed on an OLED screen.
Compatibility Notice
The 90° WireView Pro is not compatible with all graphics card models and series due to its design. This is influenced by the size of various cooler designs and the position of the 12VHPWR connector on the GPU's PCB. These factors combined may make the use of the 90° WireView Pro impossible. This must also be considered when switching to a water block cooling solution.
A list of verified compatible and non-compatible graphics card models can be found under the Downloads tab: 90° WireView Pro Compatibility Verification & List Expansion.
Testing all available graphics cards with a 12VHPWR connector is challenging for a manufacturer like Thermal Grizzly. To expand and maintain an extensive 90° WireView Pro compatibility list, we are reaching out to the PC hardware community.
If you own a graphics card that is not yet listed in the compatibility list and are unsure whether the 90° WireView Pro will fit, you can receive a free unit for compatibility testing:
Step 1: Check whether your graphics card is already listed in the compatibility list.
Step 2: Review the dimensions of the 90° WireView Pro (available under the Downloads tab).
Step 3: Independently measure the relevant areas of your graphics card.
- If you are unsure whether the 90° WireView Pro fits, or
- If you are certain that the 90° WireView Pro will fit, proceed to Step 4.
Step 4: Contact TG Customer Service to receive additional information about the next steps.

The 90° WireView Pro GPU is a power consumption measurement device for graphics cards, developed with Jon "elmor" Sandström. It connects to the 12VHPWR power connector and displays real-time power usage on an OLED screen. The Pro version includes connector detection, temperature sensors, and an alarm system that alerts users to improper cable connections, high temperatures, or exceeded power thresholds. Unlike previous U-shaped adapters, the 90° version optimizes cable routing by directing the power cable downward when the GPU is mounted horizontally.
This device records power consumption data, allowing users to monitor GPU energy use over time, track power peaks, and calculate costs. It detects whether a 150W, 300W, 450W, or 600W power cable is in use but does not measure power drawn from the PCIe slot. Built-in and external temperature sensors monitor heat levels, and an acoustic alarm warns users if temperature or amperage limits are exceeded. These features make it valuable for hardware reviews and performance monitoring.
The Thermal Grizzly 90° WireView Pro GPU displays measured values on the OLED screen. A button allows users to switch between displayed values, including:
- Current power consumption in watts (W)
- Current voltage in volts (V) and current in amperes (A)
- Minimum and maximum power consumption in watts (W)
- Average power consumption over 60 seconds (RAVG in W) and total energy consumption (E in WH)
- Measured temperatures from each temperature sensor (°C)
Availability and Pricing
The Thermal Grizzly 90° WireView Pro GPU is available with the 12VHPWR 16-pin power connector (4x sensor + 12x power/ground) in two versions: "Normal" (N) and "Reverse" (R). Both versions are available for US$73.40 at the Thermal Grizzly webshop.
