Thermal Grizzly releases a new size of KryoSheet that has been developed specifically for adapting GeForce RTX 5090 graphics cards to water cooling solutions. Measuring 44 × 37 mm, it fully covers the GB202-300-A1 GPU and slightly extends beyond its edges, requiring electrical insulation for surrounding components. To address this, the new KryoSheet includes a TG Kapton Insulation Sheet, making it suitable as a thermal paste replacement for air-cooled RTX 5090 cards while preventing the pump-out effect caused by the GPU’s large size.
Installation requires thoroughly cleaning the GPU chip and its surroundings, then carefully applying the Thermal Grizzly Kapton Insulation Sheet to avoid direct contact with the chip.
Using an ASUS GeForce RTX 5090 Astral as an example, the recommended method involves aligning and adhering the Kapton strips along the chip's edges before placing the KryoSheet. No cutting is needed, ensuring a seamless fit for optimized cooling performance.
