Thermal Grizzly has introduced the TG Delidded CPU series, offering pre-delidded processors for enthusiasts looking to maximize cooling performance without the risk of damaging their CPUs. The series debuts with the AMD Ryzen™ 7 9800X3D, with plans to include more models like the Ryzen™ 9 9950X3D in the future. Each processor undergoes thorough cleaning and functionality testing, with test results and a microscope image stored on a USB stick included with the purchase.



These delidded CPUs are optimized for use with Direct-Die cooling solutions such as the Mycro Direct-Die, Mycro Direct-Die Pro, or the High-Performance Heatspreader. For the best thermal performance, Thermal Grizzly recommends using Conductonaut Extreme thermal compound directly on the CPU die or chiplets. The original heat spreader is also included, allowing users to retain traditional cooling methods if preferred.

By providing pre-delidded CPUs, Thermal Grizzly eliminates the risks associated with manual delidding while maintaining optimal thermal performance. This initiative ensures that PC enthusiasts can achieve lower CPU temperatures and improved efficiency without voiding their warranty through self-modification.



Warranty
The Thermal Grizzly Delidded CPU is a delidded and tested CPU, for which TG assumes the manufacturer’s warranty.
