Thermalright has expanded its cooling fan lineup with the new TL-N12 series, a family of 120mm PWM fans featuring Liquid Crystal Polymer (LCP) blades, dual ball bearings, and multiple blade configurations optimized for different cooling applications. Instead of using a single fan design, the TL-N12 series offers variants tailored for high airflow, high static pressure, and balanced performance scenarios.

First introduced with several of Thermalright's latest air coolers such as the Ultra 120 Extreme REV.5 EVO Series, the TL-N12 series features a ring-connected blade design, a three-phase six-pole motor, and a metallic centre cap. The different blade counts are designed to provide varying levels of airflow, static pressure, and acoustic performance depending on the intended use case.

Thermalright TL-N12-R7: High Static Pressure Performance
The TL-N12-R7 uses a seven-blade design optimised for high static pressure applications such as CPU heatsinks, liquid cooling radiators, and restrictive chassis layouts. It delivers up to 78.73 CFM airflow and 3.23 mmH₂O static pressure at speeds of up to 2400 RPM.
• Dimensions: 120 x 120 x 25mm
• Maximum speed: 2400 RPM ±10%
• Airflow: 78.73 CFM
• Static pressure: 3.23 mmH2O
• Noise level: 31.48 dBA
• Bearing: Dual ball bearing
• Connector: 4-pin PWM

Thermalright TL-N12-R9: Balanced Airflow and Pressure
Featuring a nine-blade design, the TL-N12-R9 is designed to balance airflow and static pressure performance. Used on several of Thermalright's flagship air coolers, it delivers up to 85.35 CFM airflow and 2.95 mmH₂O static pressure at up to 2400 RPM.
• Dimensions: 120 x 120 x 25mm
• Maximum speed: 2400 RPM ±10%
• Airflow: 85.35 CFM
• Static pressure: 2.95 mmH2O
• Noise level: 33.3 dBA
• Bearing: Dual ball bearing
• Connector: 4-pin PWM

Thermalright TL-N12R-R13: Airflow and Acoustic Optimisation
The TL-N12R-R13 features a thirteen-blade reverse-blade design focused on improving airflow smoothness and reducing noise levels. Designed primarily as an exhaust fan, it delivers up to 83.2 CFM airflow while maintaining lower noise output than the other TL-N12 variants.
• Dimensions: 120 x 120 x 25mm
• Maximum speed: 2400 RPM ±10%
• Airflow: 83.2 CFM
• Static pressure: 1.87 mmH2O
• Noise level: 31.5 dBA
• Bearing: Dual ball bearing
• Connector: 4-pin PWM

The TL-N12 series demonstrates Thermalright's approach to optimising fan performance through varying blade counts and aerodynamic designs, allowing each model to target specific cooling scenarios. Pricing and availability have yet to be announced.
