Thermalright has announced the launch of its new Frost Tower 140 CPU cooler series, expanding its high-performance air cooling portfolio with a large dual-tower design aimed at enthusiast desktop systems. The new lineup consists of three variants — Frost Tower 140, Frost Tower 140 WHITE, and Frost Tower 140 BLACK — all sharing the same cooling architecture while offering different aesthetic options to suit a wide range of PC builds.
Designed for modern Intel and AMD platforms, the Frost Tower 140 series focuses on delivering strong thermal performance through a dense fin array, multiple heat pipes, and a dual-fan configuration. With broad socket compatibility and support for high-core-count processors, these coolers are positioned as a premium air-cooling solution for users seeking reliable performance without moving to liquid cooling.
Key Features
• Dual-tower heatsink design with optimised fin structure for improved heat dissipation
• Seven 6 mm heat pipes paired with a nickel-plated pure copper base
• Dual-fan configuration combining a 120 mm and 140 mm PWM fan for balanced airflow and noise control
• Wide platform support including Intel LGA115x, 1200, 1700, 1851, 2011, 2066 and AMD AM4 and AM5
• Frost Tower 140 WHITE variant features a clean white finish for light-themed builds
• Frost Tower 140 BLACK variant offers an all-black design for stealth and minimalist systems
All three models share the same physical dimensions and cooling structure, ensuring consistent performance regardless of colour choice. PWM fan control allows the coolers to dynamically adjust airflow based on system load, helping to maintain an effective balance between cooling efficiency and acoustic performance.
