THQ considering developing for Linux following success of Humble Bundle

If you partook in the delights of the THQ Humble Bundle than first of all a massive thank you! Over $5 Million was raised, of which a large portion went to charity.

However, despite the bundles success, some debates were raised as a result of it. Previous bundles have included DRM free games that are available on PC, Mac and Linux and for those of us who have become accustomed to these extra's, this bundle felt lacking. Cheshire Theyain felt the same and sent a tweet to THQ's president, Jason Rubin. The response, while unexpected, is very welcome!

While this is no guarantee that any THQ games will be made available on Linux, it is still a promising thought. It is also worth keeping in mind that THQ aren't exactly rolling in cash at the moment so while Linux games would be great, the company has other issues it needs to sort out first. However, if you have been paying attention to the previous Humble Bundles you will know that Linux users are the most generous of the lot. Perhaps if THQ had Linux games included they would have made a bit more.

What did you think of the Bundle or of the new trend in Linux game development? Tell us in our forums.
