Overclockers UK have announced that they're teaming up with gaming chair newcomers Vertagear to release a comprehensive new range in the UK. The SL-Series, comprising SL2000, SL4000 and SL5000, offer a variety of comfort and colour options whilst also being equipped with adjustable tilt, height and arm rests.
Although billed as 'Racing Series' gaming chairs, each member of the SL-range is designed with comfort and support for extended gaming sessions at the forefront. Recognising that not every player is built the same way the different models each have subtly different contours and support structures. SL2000 gaming chairs are the firmest of the set, perhaps most suited for intense bouts of sprint racing, whilst the SL5000 has substantially more padding for the back and sides that might make it the superior all-round design. The SL4000 sits firmly between these two, adding a little more padding and support whilst not quite being as aggressively contoured as the SL2000.
Also included with SL-Series gaming chairs are both a removable head pillow and lumbar support pillow. Something of a 'marmite' set of features, making them removable provides the bets of both worlds. The chair back is also adjustable, from upright (90°) to almost horizontal (170°), whilst the entire base will also lean if desired. See the video below for more:
All members of the SL-series feature:
