The WD My Passport SSD uses the latest generation USB Type-C port using USB 3.1 Gen2 interface offering bandwidth speeds of up to 10 Gb/s. It is bundled with a Type-C to Type-C cable with an Type-A adapter to cover older generation computers and devices using the USB Type-A port. It features 256-bit AES hardware encryption and password protection for security and it is compatible to both PC and Mac.

Reliable
Compared to the hard drive counterpart, the My Passport SSD offers better resistance to shock and damage. It can withstand falling from a height of 6.5 feet or 1.98 meters.

Easy to Use
