Western Digital introduces its highest capacity portable storage system – the WD My Book Duo. It is specially designed for consumers and professionals that require large capacity storage for their demanding digital content libraries. The WD My Book Duo operates in a RAID configuration offering fast transfer speeds and read speeds making it an ideal storage for massive amounts of data of all types. It comes with RAID-optimized WD Red hard drives inside to deliver high-speeds of up to 360 MB/s sequential reads. It packs a RAID-optimized firmware which is perfect for two-disk array systems with auto management of drive operations to help ensure read/write cycle data integrity.
