Western Digital showcases its newest products at CES 2018 including the new My Cloud Home with voice-activated media streaming features. WD also presents a 256GB variant of the SanDisk Ultra Fit USB 3.1 Flash Drive, the world’s smallest 256GB USB flash drive. WD previews the world’s smallest 1TB USB flash drive featuring a USB-C connectivity. Western Digital showcases its latest solutions for today’s data driven consumers at CES 2018.

My Cloud Home



The WD My Cloud Home is a perfect solution for any smart home environment offering users the convenience of preserving, capturing and organizing media content in one central place. It features voice-activated media streaming, supports Amazon Alexa services and now also Google Chromecast technology allowing users to stream on Chromecast-enabled Smart TVs. Single Drive models available in 2TB, 3TB, 4TB, 6TB, and 8TB while Dual Drive models are available in 4TB, 6TB, 8TB, 12TB and 16TB capacities. Price ranges from $159.99 to $699.99.

SanDisk Ultra Fit USB 3.1 Flash Drive



WD introduces the world’s smallest 256GB flash drive with the 256GB variant of the SanDisk Ultra Fit USB 3.1 Flash Drive. It’s a low-profile flash drive with read speeds of up to 130MB/s for smooth streaming. It has an MSRP of $149.99.

WD My Passport Wireless SSD and SanDisk Extreme Portable SSD



Western Digital is also introducing two new portable SSDs ideal for professional content creators on the go. The My Passport Wireless SSD feature one-touch copy to enable editing and sharing with a new function to directly access the drive using third-party mobile apps like LumaFusion and FiLMiC Pro. Available in 250GB, 500GB, 1TB and 2TB capacities with an MSRP of $229.99, $299.99, $499.99 and $799.99 respectively.


The SanDisk Extreme Portable SSD is the perfect storage for high resolution content for saving and editing on the go with its swift read speeds of up to 550MB/s. Available in 250GB, 500GB, and 1TB capacities with an MSRP of $99.99, $169.99 and $346.99 respectively.
