Reigate, Surrey, 10th February 2015 – The XMG CORE Series from Schenker Technologies has been revised and is now available with the latest NVIDIA high end graphics cards. The aluminium chassis of the XMG CORE gaming laptops were developed in collaboration with the world-renowned manufacturer, Gigabyte. For individual configuration customers have the latest high-end components to choose from – including the most powerful mobile graphics card from NVIDIA, the GeForce GTX 980M. The XMG CORE gaming models are available now at www.xmg.co.uk and soon to be available from selected retailers.
The XMG CORE Gaming Series are designed for those who prefer a compact and visually appealing laptop, with no compromise in power or battery life. The laptops are characterised by their low profile, sleek design, thin, light and all metal chassis.
In terms of performance – an Intel Core i7 Processor, the new NVIDIA 900M series Graphics Cards and up to 16GB RAM deliver future-proof performance for current games, photo and video editing. The XMG C405 is - in spite of enormous power the XMG C405 weighs just 1.67 kg making it an ideal mobile companion. XMG CORE C505
XMG CORE C505 – Thin, light, fast
The matte black aluminum chassis of the XMG C505 CORE gaming laptop and low weight of 2.16kg make it the most mobile of 15" gaming laptops. In terms of graphics performance, the XMG C505 surpasses even its little brother. Even NVIDIA's current top model - the GeForce GTX 980M - can be configured in this model. The additional hot-swap HDD Caddy in the optical drive bay is particularly useful when importing large amounts of data for tasks such as video editing or photo / game storage. For users who will accept no compromises in storage performance, the two mSATA ports can be configured in RAID 0.

The XMG C405 and C505 XMG, can be configured and ordered from www.xmg.co.uk starting today. Prices for the C405 start from £1125 (Inc VAT) and £1159 for the C505.
